What happens at day 14?
You get an email before anything is charged. If you do nothing, the subscription begins. If you cancel, nothing is charged, your bank connections sever, and your data leaves with you.
My advisor's portal already shows all my accounts. Why would I need this?
Your advisor's portal exists to help them manage your assets, so it shows balances, holdings and net worth. It does not keep your books, it does not produce a household profit and loss statement, and it cannot tell you what you kept last month or where this month is heading. We are not competing with your advisor, your CPA or your tax strategist. We are the bookkeeper and the CFO on your household's own staff, which is a role none of those people fill.
I already have a bookkeeper.
For your business, almost certainly. Ask her if she reconciles your household credit cards and produces a household P&L. Essentially nobody offers that as a service, which means the question is not whether to replace her. It is whether anyone is keeping the household's books at all.
Can MarginSheet move my money?
No. The connection is read-only by design. We can see what happened. We cannot make anything happen. Paying, transferring, and moving money stay wherever you do them now.
What if my bank is not supported?
We connect through Plaid, which covers most U.S. banks, card issuers and lenders. If yours is not there, tell us before you subscribe and we will check. The 14 days exist so you find out with nothing at risk.
I already use a budgeting app. Can I run both?
Yes, and we would suggest it. Keep your current app, connect your accounts here as well, and run both for the 14 days. Compare what each one asks of you and what each one tells you. Retire whichever earns it.
